The Parish Nurse Program is a health ministry modeled after the
direction and example of Jesus to "teach, preach, and heal" body, mind, and
spirit. The Parish Nurse Program makes home and hospital visits as needed and requested
and provide a bulletin delivery to those who cannot get to church.
The Parish Nurse Program provide several educational programs:

"Lunch & Learn" monthly

After school program in "after school" class

Babysitting Course annually in the spring

CPR annually
The Parish Nurse Program includes the Health Care Cabinet, which can include
non-medical persons who may be invited to act in a support role, but are essential,
wonderful people who contribute significantly to our success. Members meet approximately
once/quarter.
Information and counseling is provided free and with strict confidentiality. Referral
services are available for many health related issues including but not limited to:
Nutrition, diabetes, mammography and pap smears, substance abuse, smoking cessation,
child or elder abuse, emotional illness.
