Health Hints :
Persons age 65 years or more are
more prone to heat stress than
younger persons as they
do not adjust as well to sudden
changes in temperature; they are
more likely to have a chronic
medical condition that changes
normal body responses to heat; they
are more likely to take prescription
medicines that impair the body's
ability to regulate its temperature
or that inhibit perspiration.
Please Note:
The parish has two AED machines for use in the event
of cardiac arrest.
One is located in the
Parents Room at the back of our church and the other is in the
foyer of the school right outside
the gym doors.
Please
note:
During
the months of July and August the Parish Nurse office is closed.
