JUNIOR YOUTH GROUP	Attention 5th – 8th Grade Students The entire cast and crew of “The Spider and The Fly” will meet June 22 from 2 – 5 p.m. in the School Gym.  Please call either Jan (258-1642) or Liz (305-3510) or send an e-mail to stjoesjryouthgroup@gmail.com with any conflicts. ITEMS NEEDED FOR JUNIOR YOUTH GROUP PLAY Any donation of goods, services or financial assistance would be greatly appreciated!  Please contact Father Nick, Jan (258-1642) or Liz (305-3510) for details.  Items can be placed in a box located at the back of the church marked “Junior Youth Group” or brought to Father Nick’s office.
	“THE SPIDER AND THE FLY” Next week our Junior Youth group is extremely proud and excited to present its first theatre production, “The Spider and The Fly”, to the families and friends of St. Joseph Parish.  Performances will be held in the School Gym on:  Friday, June 27 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, June 28 at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, June 29 at 3 p.m.  Tickets are $5/adults, $3/children (under 3/free) and will be available after all Masses this weekend, June 21/22.  Tickets may also be purchased at the Parish Office.  Please come join us in support of our Junior Youth Group!

St Joseph Youth Group	SJYG meets Sundays from 6-8 p.m. unless otherwise stated. All high school age youth are invited to attend SJYG events. Monitoring Pop Culture	Focus on the Family is a magazine. that is published monthly.  Their web site is http://WWW.FAMILY.ORG A recent article in the magazine talkies about Monitoring Pop Culture.   Information can be found at http://WWW.pluggedinmag.com The article states that it is designed for parents and youth leaders.  It provides reviews of newest movies, video releases and prime-time television.  Parents!!  To check whether or not a film is suitable for your children, call 1-800-311-4222, the Movie Review Line, sponsored by the U.S. Council of Catholic Bishops.
Irish Night	Click here to view IRISH NIGHT 2008 St. Joseph’s Youth Group is hosting its annual Irish Night on Saturday, March 1 in the Church Hall.  Music will be provided by Joe Heeran & Music in the Glen from 7 – 11 p.m.  Tickets are $20 each and include dinner, music, dancing and set ups (cups and ice – bring your own beverages).  Dinner includes corned beef & cabbage, boiled potatoes and carrots, corned beef sandwiches, Irish soda bread, coffee and tea.  Tickets will be sold after all Masses the weekends of February 16/17 and 23/24.
