ADULT SACRAMENT PROGRAM INFORMATION

Are you an adult who needs to receive
the sacraments of baptism, communion and/or confirmation? Contact
Deacon Jeffrey Kingsley (225-9281) for more information about
receiving these sacraments through the program known as the Rite
of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).

someone you know wants more information or wants to join the
Catholic Church or wants to complete their sacraments of initiation
(Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation), please call Deacon Jeff

classes have already begun.

CONFIRMATION PREPARATION
|
|
A six-week course
begins January 9 for anyone of high school age or over who
would like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION --
COUPLES NEEDED
TO ASSIST IN TEACHING PRE-BAPTISM CLASSES
|
|
Deacon Tony is looking for couples to volunteer
to assist in teaching Pre-Baptism classes, normally held on the last
Sunday of each month. Each class lasts approximately one hour.
Depending upon the number of volunteers, each couple’s commitment may
only be a few times each year. During the class,
couples would share their personal perspective on the importance of
their faith and the importance of the St. Joseph’s faith community to
their family. If interested, or if you just want to know more
about the program, please contact Deacon Tony through the Parish

If you have a child entering
First Grade in public school in September, it is
time to enroll them in Religious Education classes! Children
must attend in both first and second grades to be eligible to
receive First Holy Communion at the end of second grade.
To register or for more info, please call the Religious

PRE-CANA VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Marriage Preparation Workshop |

The PreCana team is in need of help! If you
could spare one day a year to help prepare engaged couples for the
wonderful, blessed, sacrament of marriage, we’d love to have you!
It is a wonderful experience, keeps your marriage strong and it’s a
lot of fun! Training is provided. If you have any questions or

MARRIAGE
PREPARATION WORKSHOP
The
Marriage Preparation workshops, otherwise known as PreCana, will be
held on Friday evening and all day Saturday, November 6 and 7. If
any couple is planning to get married in the near future, this
workshop meets the church’s requirements for marriage preparation.
