14 years and older are to abstain from meat.
Stations of the
Cross:
every Friday

Lord on the road to Calvary through Scriptural reflections,
prayer and song. As in recent years, this service will be
bilingual to bring us all together as one community of faith.
Confessions:
In
addition to our normal schedule, a priest will be hearing
confessions for 15 minutes after every weekend Mass.
St. Joseph Parish will also be participating in
the diocesan-wide “Lenten Confession Campaign” in
which every Catholic church in Fairfield County will be
offering the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Tuesday
evenings of Lent from 6:30-8 p.m.
HOLY WEEK
Three days stand out against all
others for Christians:
the day Jesus died, the day He lay in
the tomb and the day He rose from the dead.
Everything we do on these days is
different!
Everything we do is important!
Mark your calendar for April 21-23,
known as the Triduum, and join your fellow parishioners to
celebrate the events of Holy Thursday (the Mass of the Lord’s
Supper), Good Friday (Commemoration of the Lord’s Passion) and Holy
Saturday (Easter Vigil Mass).
