“GUARDIAN ANGELS” NEEDED
The
“Guardian Angels” program is a financial aid
scholarship program that was launched in 2005 by friends
and parishioners who wished to help deserving students
attend St. Joseph School. Last year, the program
benefited 14 students who otherwise might
not have been able to afford a Catholic education.
Administered directly by the parish, funds collected by
the Guardian Angels program subsidize a
significant part of the tuition cost for active parish
families who demonstrate some financial need. If you
would like to sponsor a child in our parish school next
year for a half, three-quarters, or full tuition
scholarship, please contact Father Chris directly.

Do you know a
parishioner who is homebound due to illness or is elderly and
would like to receive Communion or go to Confession? If so, please call Father
Marcel at the Parish Office by phone (924-8611) or e-mail him at
(UCSMarcel@aol.com).

To Be Announced
Marriage Preparation workshops,
otherwise known as PreCana, will be held on Friday
evening, April 16 and all day Saturday, April 17
here at St. Joseph’s. We offer engaged couples a
diocesan-approved program that covers many topics, including
how “Theology of the Body” is incorporated into married
life. The cost of the workshop is $75 which includes
materials, snacks and lunch. If any couple is planning to
get married in the near future, this workshop meets our
parish’s requirement for marriage preparation. If you have
any questions or would like to register, please contact
Terry Pearce at 463-8528 or
jtpearce5@hotmail.com.
