The Apostles
were invited to serve in St. Joseph Parish in Shelton in
2006 by the pastor, Fr. Chris Walsh. The community includes
(L-R) Sr. Nancy Strillacci, Program
Director in the Office of Clergy for the Diocese of
Bridgeport; Sr. Cora Lombardo,
Director of Religious Education for St. Paul Parish In West
Haven, and Director of Confirmation and RCIA for St.
Lawrence, St. Louis, and St. Paul. Sr. Cora is also the
director of the Apostles' Friends of the Sacred Heart and
she maintains the Spiritual Reading Library at Mount Sacred
Heart. Sr. Ruth Aubrey is an Administrative Assistant
in the Office of Clergy in the Diocese of Bridgeport; Sr.
Rita Petrarca, Pastoral Associate for the Parish and
Archivist for the Apostles' U.S. Province; and Sr. Jerilyn
Hunihan, a Chaplain with the Connecticut Department of
Corrections.
