JUNIOR YOUTH GROUP

 

 

Attention 5th – 8th Grade Students

No Junior Youth Group meeting this Sunday, May 11, so that we can share this special time together with our moms.  Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Moms!  The entire cast and crew will meet next Saturday, May 17 from 1 – 3 p.m.  Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so that we can start rehearsal promptly at 1 p.m.  Thank you!

ITEMS NEEDED FOR

JUNIOR YOUTH GROUP PLAY

Any donation of goods, services or financial assistance would be greatly appreciated!  Please contact Father Nick, Jan (258-1642) or Liz (305-3510) for details.  Items can be placed in a box located at the back of the church marked “Junior Youth Group” or brought to Father Nick’s office.

 

 

 

Plans are underway for the June production of the Junior Youth Group’s play the “Spider and the Fly”.  Any donation of goods, services or financial assistance would be greatly appreciated!  Items and services needed are:  cloth, paint, markers, paper goods, concession items (bottled water, candy, soda, etc.), new items for gift baskets and auction, a seamstress or someone able to sew or make simple costumes, and someone to help paint/create the set design.  Please contact Fr. Nick, Jan (258-1642) or Liz (305-3510) with any questions.  Items can be placed in a box located at the back of the church marked “Junior Youth Group” or brought to Father Nick’s office.

Focus on the Family is a magazine. that is published monthly.  Their web site is

IRISH NIGHT 2008

St. Joseph’s Youth Group is hosting its annual Irish Night on Saturday, March 1 in the Church Hall.  Music will be provided by Joe Heeran & Music in the Glen from 7 – 11 p.m.  Tickets are $20 each and include dinner, music, dancing and set ups (cups and ice – bring your own beverages).  Dinner includes corned beef & cabbage, boiled potatoes and carrots, corned beef sandwiches, Irish soda bread, coffee and tea.  Tickets will be sold after all Masses the weekends of February 16/17 and 23/24.
