Women's Devotional Kickoff Meeting

The Women’s Devotional “kick off” meeting was held on September 10, 2025. Our guest speaker was Father Michael Dogali who spoke on how music especially opera relates to theology.

He focused on La Boheme, an Italian opera which is one of the highest forms of art. He went on to explain how opera ties into Christian teachings and spirituality. It was truly inspirational for all who attended. Thank you Father!

Book Exchange

Are you looking for something interesting and spiritual to read? The Women’s Devotional Group has started a spiritual book exchange. Our group members and some parishioners have donated books from their collections.

There is a wide variety of reading material about our Catholic faith, the Mass, the Bible, Jesus, Mary and many of our saints as well as a basket containing holy cards, bookmarks and other small spiritual items.

The bookcase is located downstairs in the Pastore Church Hall next to the staircase on the school side of the building. The hall is accessible by elevator only during Masses and daily when the church is open. Please take a look at what we have to offer. Take one, keep it, or bring it back. Consider donating one!

Anyone interested in joining the Women’s Devotional Group at St. Joseph’s, please contact Marie Meresko at applemarie123@att.net for more information.

Retreat and Day of Prayer

On May 3, 2025, St. Joseph's Women's Devotional Group hosted a Retreat and Day of Prayer in conjunction with  St. Mary's in Milford. Sister Colleen Smith, an Apostle of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, was the guest speaker. What a wonderful day of peaceful reflection, prayer, and spiritual growth.
